My little bunny loves to eat the cone from an icecream, I only give her a small amount and not very often, will this cause her any harm?

so long as you are careful (and it does seem that you are) to not give it to her too often. moderation is the key.

my rabbit morgan LOVES ice cream. she gets to have a nibble when i have it for a snack. there was a time when i would have some almost every night. unfortunately, my age and weight have eliminated that treat. now it's once a week if i'm lucky :( poor morgan, she has to suffer thru it.

A small amount of ice cream cone won't do any harm, the only time I've
ever seen a little bit of a food do any harm was when my rabbit got a
bit of some dried hot pepper, Then she pawed at her mouth and had a
stomach ache.

The only problem is sugar, which rabbits love but causes problems just
as it does with dogs, horses, just about any animal. In small amounts,
and as an occasional treat, it shouldn't be a problem. Just don't be
surprised if your rabbit understands the words "small" and
"occasional" a lot differently than you do. :-)

Tabitha can smell ice cream from across the room . . . esp, coldstone
sweet cream w/ berries and banana! She comes running and will scale you
to attack the container as you try to hold it out of reach. Sitting on
the couch for dessert is now just an invitation to be mauled and have a
bunny tongue in your bowl.
